What you'll do

  • Provide direct day-to-day care in a therapeutic residential setting
  • Build trusting, consistent relationships with young people
  • Support care plans, risk assessments and reporting procedures
  • Work alongside House Managers and the multi-disciplinary team
  • Maintain a safe, structured and nurturing home environment
  • Participate in shift patterns including weekends and sleep-ins

What you'll bring

  • Minimum 1 year experience in residential care, therapeutic, youth work or social-care setting
  • QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People's Workforce (or willingness to complete within 12 months)
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Full driving licence preferred
  • Successful Access NI enhanced disclosure
  • Commitment to trauma-informed and therapeutic practice

What you'll do

  • Deputise for the House Manager, leading shifts and supporting team welfare
  • Coordinate care planning and ensure consistent therapeutic practice
  • Supervise, mentor and develop Residential Care Workers
  • Liaise with social workers, safeguarding teams and other professionals
  • Contribute to compliance, audits and regulatory reporting
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and induction of new staff

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years in residential childcare with at least 1 year in a senior or supervisory role
  • QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
  • Strong understanding of NI residential childcare regulations and safeguarding
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Successful Access NI enhanced disclosure
  • Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training preferred
